In addition to having a keyboard from the major brands you also need a computer with MIDI software to record, edit and enhance your recordings with special effects. To capture your creations you will need a computer which can link to your piano keyboard. Most professional keyboards provide a MIDI USB connection at the back of the keyboard which makes it easy to connect to a computer. With the right software, you can record and edit your music straight from your computer. Working from home as a jingle writer can be an exciting career if you have the drive and talent.
